A proper festive treat, this! Our Turkey & Smoked Ham Hock Pie is what Christmas leftovers wish they could be. We've taken tender chunks of turkey breast and paired them with rich, smoky ham hock, all wrapped in our signature buttery shortcrust pastry. The filling is proper decadent - swimming in a rich, creamy sauce with sweet roasted carrots and leeks. Been making this beauty every Christmas for years now, and the way that golden-brown crust cracks open to reveal the steaming filling underneath... absolutely gorgeous. It's proper comfort food, this - the sort that makes you want to pop on a Christmas film and settle in. Only available during the festive season, mind, so best get it while you can!

OVEN: Preheat oven to Fan 180 ºC / Electric 200 ºC / Gas 6. Remove outer sleeve and film. Remove the pie from their tray and place on a baking tray and position in the centre of the oven. Cook for 35 – 40 mins. Leave to stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Turkey Thigh Pie

Quite a nice pie though rather salty. It would have been nice to have some turkey white breast meat instead of all brown thigh meat. The filo pastry made a nice change from the rather insipid water crust pastry in some other pies. A nice seasonal change.

Another good one from FieldGoods. Good portion for two people, very filling with a lot of filling. Could use a little bit more salt.
