INGREDIENTS: Coley (30%), [FISH]*, Sweet Potato, Coconut Milk (27%), Fennel (9%), Onion, Ginger, Jaggery, Garlic, Green Chilli, Cornflour, Tamarind, Coriander Leaves, Lime Juice, Kosher Salt, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Mustard Seeds, [MUSTARD], Green Cardamom Pods, Curry Leaves (1%).

Heating Instructions

BEST COOKED IN THE OVEN FROM FROZEN

Preheat oven to Fan 180 ºC / Electric 200 ºC / Gas 6. Remove outer sleeve and pierce film. Place on a baking tray and position in the centre of the oven. Cook for 35 - 40 mins. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. Stir well before serving.

MICROWAVE

Remove sleeve and pierce film. Heat on full power. 850W. Heat for 4 mins.

Leave to stand for 2 minutes and stir well before serving.

CAUTION: Steam may be released when removing the film lid.

We’re Sam and Elliot Day; two food obsessed brothers who left the farm in Devon for the big city. After three years running a successful restaurant in London, we decided to turn our love of home-cooked food into a business and set up FieldGoods in 2020. The dream? A bit hit and miss!

This was nice & flavourful. However, the sauce was very runny. The fennel was stringy & would have been better cut up small. The cooking instructions on the packet did not match those on the website. I microwaved it from frozen for 9 minutes, it was still cold! I had to add another 3 minutes.
Kudos for not adding rice, in a nod towards keto!

Delicious!!!

Absolutely mind blowing flavours are bursting out from this dish. I am not a fan of fish due to the bones, but this had zero bones in it. Lovely sauce and great portion size for one person. I especially like the fact that there are no rice as i am on a low carb diet and this gives me the choice.
I will definitely include in my future orders.

Definitely a "restaurant quality meal"

I always think it's a bit of a lottery how the dishes which arrive frozen will turn out. After all, each time they've had a different amount of time in the van before they're delivered and the water from any melting while in the van or while they transit to "chilled" in all of our very different and sometimes idiosyncratic fridges , and the amount of time we hold any given dish in our fridge or freezer fridge can change the consistency of the food and how it turns out. etc. But this time, the the Fieldgoods freezer to oven model worked absolutely perfectly and we had what Homecooks advertises, a restaurant quality meal and not just any restaurant -- a very good one!
Luscious sauce at just the right consistency, coconut milk obviously used but not wiping out the other flavours as it sometimes does, generous big hunks of fish and what a treat to have the beautifully cooked carrots and fennel. We absolutely loved it.

Subtle and tasty

Great subtle flavours in the sauce, reasonable amount of fish. Would have liked to see more body (veg or fish) as there was a lot of sauce. Needs some rice on the side to make a meal.

Fishy Friday

Perfect if you find you forgot the fish for Friday. Tasty without being over spiced.
