Heating Instructions

As our food is hand-made by our chefs, these reheating instructions are a guide. Check your food is piping hot throughout before serving.

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Remove lid and place loosely on the container. Place on a microwaveable plate and heat on full power for 3-4 minutes, stirring half way through. After heating, stir and stand for 2 minutes before serving.

HOB: Empty contents into a pan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot. Stir before serving.

In Madagascar, cooking is a time for family, especially with grandma and grandpa. We cook together rather than relying on the elders of the family to do it on their own. We are taught by our grandma, reminding us it was her mother who taught her and that this is how the tradition of Malagasy dishes stay alive. It's an incredible bonding experience that passes on recipes and techniques for generations to come.

One of my favourite soups

One of my favourite soups. I have bought this several times. This time I added some pieces of cured salmon to make a light meal.

Disappointing

I've had this soup a couple of times before and really enjoyed it. On this occasion it was thin and watery with gloopy spinach. Barely any taste. Much smaller portion too.
A one-off bad one?
I ordered two pots. If the second one is the same I will not be ordering it again.

gave it a second chance

I really wanted go like this soup and after a first disappointing experience, I gave it another go! Still there are barely any spinach, it's basically a lentil dahl! Also the size is disappointing too, this should be a side and not a regular portion. It definitely didn't filled me up. I order other soup with regular size and they are more than this one..shame because the flavour is nice
