My lasagna al forno is a labour of love, layering tradition with a touch of Scottish flair. We use lean Scottish beef, slow-cooked with red wine and tomato, creating a rich, deep flavor that seeps into every layer. The pasta sheets are handmade, delicate yet sturdy enough to hold the luscious meat sauce and creamy béchamel. A generous sprinkle of Parmigiano-Reggiano crowns the dish before it's baked to golden perfection. I enjoyed this very much this evening. The bechamel and pasta was perfect and crisped up nicely too baked. I would have liked a little more flavour to the meat but would order again for sure. It heated nicely from chilled also.

This looked paler than I am used to but proved to be full of flavour and the portion size is exactly right for me. Just the right amount of everything.
