My lasagna al forno is a labour of love, layering tradition with a touch of Scottish flair. We use lean Scottish beef, slow-cooked with red wine and tomato, creating a rich, deep flavor that seeps into every layer. The pasta sheets are handmade, delicate yet sturdy enough to hold the luscious meat sauce and creamy béchamel. A generous sprinkle of Parmigiano-Reggiano crowns the dish before it's baked to golden perfection. Heating Instructions

❄️ FROM CHILLED

MICROWAVE: Heat on full power(950W) for 4-6 minutes. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes or until piping hot.

❄️ ❄️ FROM FROZEN

MICROWAVE: Heat on full power(950W) for 8-10 minutes. Leave to stand for 1 minute before serving.

OVEN: Preheat oven to 180°C (Gas Mark 5). Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes or until piping hot.

Meet Adriano

Sofalino

My father was a chef and my mothers parents were Italian food importers so I naturally grew up in an environment with food. I worked in my father’s restaurant before setting up my own restaurant in 2011. I have over 30 years experience in the restaurant business.

Different From Picture

What turned up didn’t look much like the website photo, so perhaps the recipe has changed? In any case it was very tasty not too much lasagne plenty of tasty meat and an obvious taste of cheese. Put mine on a bed of lambs lettuce with fresh sweet cherry tomatoes. Didn’t turn out very hot after cooking 22 mins @ 180C so I think it probably needed closer to 30 mins.

This was a hearty portion of lasagne and lots of lovely flavours.

Not Up To Usual Standard

I ordered two lasagnes and I was really looking forward to them but for some reason they weren't quite up to their usual standard. I order two every time I place an order so feel I can comment on the standard of them. Hopefully it was just a one off situation as they are my favourite meal from HC.
