Jerk Pork

Traditional jerk done the way you like it! I started by marinating pork belly in a jerk seasoning and then slowing cooking so all the flavours have a chance to mingle. This results in tender, mouthwatering pork with a fiery kick that transport you to Jamaica. Served with our homemade rice and peas.

I started cooking at the age of 9 when my mother didn't come home early enough one day and my brothers really needed to eat. I cooked tinned mackerel in tomato sauce and plain boiled rice - even my stepdad had it. I've worked in several restaurants over the years, this helped me to develop my skills. My husband saw my passion and found a place where we opened our first Caribbean restaurant. It's been 10 years and I still love it!

Joyous Jerk!!

This was absolutely beautiful, the rice and pork not only was cooked perfectly it's taste was amazing. Nice and smoky with slight heat and the pork was tender and crispy at the same time.

Definitely added to the favourites!
