Kibinai

Allow me to introduce you to one of my favourite pastries. These savoury pastries are a true labor of love, but oh so worth the effort.
When you break open a kibinai, the aromas are just incredible. You'll be hit with those intoxicating spices and a waft of freshly baked bread.
One bite and you'll experience the wonderful contrasts - the tender meat, the flaky pastry, the herby freshness. It's savoury, it's comforting, it's completely addictive!

Lithuanian Kitchen

I've loved cooking since I was young and it has been a source of confidence for me as well as a creative outlook. Since being in the UK, I've adapted my recipes to cater to the local taste buds, fusing Lithuanian food culture with the British palate. This makes me happy as it allows me to share my country's cuisine with the country I have grown to love.

New favourite Lunch

Pork & Beef Kibinai, very tasty as a lunch with a bed of lambs lettuce and some chilli jam. The pastry is very nice but unfortunately I didn’t get mine crispy or the meat sausage more than luke warm using the air fryer cooking instructions (3-4 mins @ 180C) on the package! These need rapidly checking and changing as they do not heat adequately or crisp up the pastry.

The texture was perfect after defrosting.

Love them

Five stars for spinach and cottage cheese filling. I need to try the chicken again and not had the mushroom yet. Pastry so good. So much nicer than an English sausage roll.

Lovely & different

Mushroom one tasted amazing, chicken one was very nice but not quite as good as the mushroom. Each came as 2, very good size.

Flakey Pastry & Intriguing Aroma

First time trying these. The aroma whilst cooking was intriguing. The pastry was delicious light and flakey, with a generous amount of chicken filling. It would be useful to know if they should be eaten on their own or with a condiment. I had them as is but feel they need a little something. The jury’s still out for me on these.
