Marmalade Glazed Ham

This glazed ham is my absolute pride and joy, a recipe I've been perfecting for HomeCooks. There's something magical about how the sweet-tangy marmalade caramelises on that beautiful piece of meat. I slowly brush on layers of my orange marmalade glaze, enhanced with just a touch of Dijon mustard and brown sugar – it creates a gorgeous amber coating that turns almost stained-glass shiny as it bakes.
When it comes out of the oven, you get this incredible aroma that just fills the whole house, and the ham itself is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. The best part? Those slightly charred, sticky bits around the edges – they're always the first to disappear! It's not just a main dish; it's become a family favorite, and honestly, seeing everyone's faces light up when I bring it to the table makes all the effort worth it.

Meet Lisa

My Mum was an amazing chef and taught me how to cook. My food story began when I was a songwriter, our studios were in a remote part of Kent with nowhere to buy food so I cooked for everyone. After 20 years of writing pop songs I decided I wanted a career in food and I was offered a chef role at Jamie Oliver's cook school but decided to set up my own at home. My business grew into recipe developing and writing articles for local London newspapers.

Good Simple Meal

The ham was a quality slice of dry cure, mash was very nice though I would have welcomed a larger portion and it was a bit sloppy due to the tasty sauce gravy provided. The carrots were well cooked and tasty but a portion of peas / beans would have completed a nice meal. Overall I thought the portion a bit meagre for a growing pensioner 🤣

Yummy

This was comfort food par excellence.
The ham was lovely, the mash potato to die for and the carrots were sweet succulence.
Will buy again, only more of it.
