Chicken Tikka Masala with Yellow Rice and Spring Mix Vegetables

Chicken tikka masala is a beloved choice at Indian restaurants, and it's undoubtedly one of my top picks too. The velvety, gentle, and creamy sauce is incredibly tasty. While its origins lie in the Punjab region, chicken tikka masala is enjoyed across the Indian subcontinent and beyond. In the UK, it stands out as one of the most frequently ordered dishes in Indian restaurants.

Meet Reyansh

I come from a very competitive family all who think they are the best cook. I have always had a particular rivalry with my brother which has always kept me trying out new techniques and flavours to develop the best versions of the tastes and flavours loved in India. I have cooked in many places in the UK now and people know me for my unique approach and style when it comes to cooking the Indian classics.

New Balanced Recipe

Now reformulated with a spring mixed vegetables addition - this was rather nice but I’m not sure the pak-Choi worked - it gave a rather odd taste to the mix and was overcooked, I thing finely chopped sweet pointy cabbage would work better. The curry was nice but hotter than I remember it?

Not bad

Not bad but didn't taste quite like a chicken tikka masala usually does. The butter chicken from the same chef also has an unusual taste.

Delicious!

Enjoyed this very much. I'll slightly lower the cooking time on the microwave next time.

An exquisite chicken curry, generously portioned.

Bitter?

I’m sure this was nicer the last time I had it? There’s plenty of chicken thigh and definitely better than supermarket ones which are always too sweet. But I found very bitter on the palette this time?
