Cheese Stuffed Meatballs

These are my beautiful cheese-stuffed meatballs - tender, juicy beef meatballs with a gorgeous molten cheese center that oozes out with every bite. I've seasoned the meat perfectly with aromatic spices, then carefully wrapped each one around a pocket of creamy cheese before gently pan-frying them to golden perfection. It's comfort food at its finest - rustic, indulgent, and absolutely irresistible.

Ok

Unfortunately no flavour in this dish. Potato mix was nice and different but still lacked flavour, as did the meatballs. Too much sweetcorn too. Didn't hate it, just missing flavour.

Can be improved

This could and should have been better. I microwaved for 3:30 mins at 850W much less than the sleeve instructions - it was viciously over-hot and the meatballs were almost dried out. They would have been inedible if I’d followed the instructions exactly. There was also not enough cheese and what was there didn’t taste very cheesy. Also I was not convinced by the veg - if chefs are trying to produce a more balanced meal by including vegetables then they need to be able to survive the freeze-thaw-reheat cycle without turning into mush. Needs some work but this could be a good meal….

Great idea. Veg and potato mix good but cheese had dried out in meatballs so not cheesy enough and quite heavy.

Tasty smoky meatballs

The meatballs were delicious with a great smoky flavour and a hint of spice. However, the cheese had escaped. The veg side tasted fresh and suited the meatballs well.
