Char Siu Pork and Rice with a fried egg and a Choi Sum is one of the most common dish in Hong Kong, but is very rare when it is done well. It is the dish I have always eaten as a quick meal growing up in Hong Kong, but it is also the dish that I will go out and travel for from a famous location.

Steamed glutinous rice with chicken/pork, dried seafood, chinese sausages wrapped in lotus leaf. Good quality dried seafood and mushrooms are difficult to find in the UK, other than at my parents home which were brought over by family and friends from Hong Kong. Therefore whenever I go home, it is at the top of the request list of dishes to make.

There isn't a specific event, but I am very proud of what myself and my partner, Johnny have achieved so far, starting a street food business. To hear everyone's lovely comments and appreciation of our cooking has really helped motivate and propel us forward in this industry.
