Smoky Chipotle & Dried‑Plum Pork

One of our favourites in our coffee shop in Mexico. The pork loin is seasoned for 24 hours with salt, onion, garlic, and orange juice, then roasted for 2–3 hours with dried-plums and smoky chipotle sauce. It’s a delicate, beautifully balanced dish. We paired it with green spaghetti and vegetables.

Tasty

I enjoyed this one, my pork was fne and very tasty and tender. Just marked down one star because I think it's a bit expensive at full price.

Needs work

Flavours were great, combination a bit strange though and sadly there were more chunks of fat than actual pork.

Very tasty smoked chipotle pork but sadly bits of fat in it and a little greasy. I enjoyed both sides but could do with a little more mash.

Something different!

The pork was delicious, tasting a bit sweet as well as smokey. I wasn’t sure the dish was going to work but the green spaghetti and mashed sweet potato/pepper mix went nicely. It was different to the usual pulled meat dishes I’ve had and I enjoyed it - I would definitely have it again!

It only loses a star as it had a few strips of pork fat in it which I would have preferred without.
