My journey into the world of cooking is a heartwarming story rooted in tradition, passion, and community. Growing up in Gujarat, India, I discovered my love for vegetarian cooking alongside my mother, mastering the art of traditional, authentic homemade dishes. My upbringing was deeply influenced by the Hindu Sattvic culture, which continues to inspire my culinary creations today. After my marriage, I moved to London, where my talent in the kitchen quickly became apparent. People were drawn to the authentic, homely flavours of my food. What started as small cooking ventures for schools, fetes, and markets soon evolved into something bigger. As a mother of two wonderful boys, balancing family life and my growing passion became a challenge. To keep my dream alive, I began selling my delicious creations in local shops and hosting pop-up events. And so, Meghana's Rasoi was born—a celebration of traditional vegetarian cooking that brings joy to everyone who tastes my food. To this day, I cherish the smiles and delighted reactions of those who enjoy my dishes, keeping my love for cooking and community at the heart of everything I do.
