Harissa Chicken with Ratatouille

This dish highlights my homemade harissa paste - a spicy blend that makes it extra flavourful. In addition, to harissa' great health benefits, I cooked the chicken in a healthy way whilst still retaining moisture and flavour. The side of ratatouille provides a medley of delicious, nutrient-dense vegetables. Together they create a wholesome, satisfying dish with complex yet healthy flavours. Enjoy it on its own or with pitta or rice.

Meet Giovanna

I have loved cooking since a young age. Once, my sister asked me to fry her an egg, I was anxious as I had never cooked before. When I fried the egg perfectly I fell in love with cooking. Since then I started taking cooking lessons, including in secondary school. I studied professional cookery at Merton College and I am currently studying nutrition and food management at West London University.

Lovely. Tasty. Just too many bones but lovely I'd order again

Very tasty food. The chicken was tender and the harissa was subtle.


Absolutely delicious meal, really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as it was as my appetite hasn’t been the best lately. But would be very nice with some roast potato or rice too. Another time I may split the portion and try this.

Found again that the cooking instructions weren’t long enough to heat it fully through, finding this quite often with the Airfry instructions especially.

I liked the flavour of the chicken and felt there was plenty for a one person serving, though the ratatouille was a bit overcooked for my liking and I would have liked a little more in the portion size.
