Coconut Chicken Skewers

This dish uses my original recipe for BBQ pork yakitori which I've been perfecting since 1989 (if you've tried my BBQ pork skewers then you know what I'm talking about - yum). But I've included my egg fried rice to make a full meal. The unique process of curing the pork with sweet and savoury ingredients makes this dish very special. To keep the dish authentic, we char-grill the meat to have that smokey flavour you only get with the right bbq equipment. This dish is sought after and always creates a long queue when we do festivals and events.

Lovely

Very nice lots of them with a really deep flavor

A bit undercooked?

These skewers tasted very nice on the whole, but were pinkish on the inside, maybe undercooked? There was no rice served with them. There was a kind of white vegetable, not sure what, but it was very hard!

INSANELY TASTY!

Honestly, all of Pessima's skewers are so delicious. Richly flavoured, great cuts of meat. Really enjoyed the coconut flavour and was not overpowering. Easily enough for a hungry person's meal. Presented on mini sticks so easy to eat and share.

Great taste chicken wasn't dry at all and a lot of flavour. Even the presentation when it was delivered was spot on with the additional items sliced on top.
