I've loved cooking since I was young and it has been a source of confidence for me as well as a creative outlook. Since being in the UK, I've adapted my recipes to cater to the local taste buds, fusing Lithuanian food culture with the British palate. This makes me happy as it allows me to share my country's cuisine with the country I have grown to love.

Very tasteful, yet lacking any chicken.

Very tasteful soup, nice and light yet filling. Unfortunately, other than a few grains of mince, it totally lacked any chicken,

Delicious but disappointing

It was a really lovely soup (if a bit too salty). But I wanted borscht. I should have looked more closely at the picture and not just the ingredients. Ingredient 1 is beetroot, which I LOVE and EXPECT a borscht to be made of. I find it hard to believe that is the first ingredient - and I couldn't see or taste it.

That said, it was a very tasty soup! Call it Lithuanian chicken and veg soup or something and I might get it again!

One more thought - the packaging didn't work well. The top was soaked through and the tape, when pulled off, tore my heating instructions in half.

No chicken, chicken soup

Although it was a very flavoursome soup, I would not have classed it as borscht. Rather, it is a pleasant vegetable soup. The only sign of chicken were some grains of ground chicken mince, not chunks of meat.
