Meet Bohus

Food has been my passion from an early age. I recall helping my grandfather on his farm growing fresh produce or my dad in the kitchen. Later, I moved to the UK having studied at a chef school in my country but my basic English meant I could only get a job as a kitchen porter. Eventually, the head chef gave me the opportunity to shadow him which I accepted with both hands. Now, I am an established executive head chef.

It's nice

So this is good but it's a bit bland. Needs a blackberry sauce or something to make it less dry.

It looked lovely, but I could not taste the blueberries and I did not know if almonds were in there? but I could not taste them, not much flavour at all , disappointing.

No almonds?

Frangipane suggests there should be a taste of almonds, to me. There were very few blueberries too. Overall a disappointment.

I think it would have been good to have some blackberry jam with it too.

I enjoyed this and the taste was good, I had it on its own, warmed in the oven, I think I should have had it with something, clotted cream and blackberry jam maybe....
